An industrial robot equipped with one or more cameras used to analyze and review images and provide a secondary data signal to the controller is a vision guided robot. These robot systems rapidly change the manufacturing process as it enables robots to be adopted and applied to the system. The rapid change will also reduce the cost and complexity of fixed tools in the installation of robotic cells. The visually guided robot system includes a camera and a computer. These robots first capture images and then transfer them to the processor and finally report the data. This system can be applied for any purpose in any industry as it aims to accomplish a variety of different tasks.
